Hopefully your first enema went well. Cleanup should be relatively easy.
Here are a few tips to help you.
In years past it was a common sight to see the family
enema bag hanging on the back of the bathroom door to dry.
Unfortunately in today's society we are confronted with diseases that are
easily passed to other people.
Like HIV, AIDS, Hepatitis!
Nowadays it is in good idea for
each person in the family to have their own enema bag.
- Wash your enema bag, hose
and nozzles with a good bacterial soap.
- A 10% bleach solution is good to
soak your enema bag and
nozzles for a few minutes to sanitize them.
Rinse all of you equipment
with plain water before and after you use the bleach solution.
- Many people like to sanitize their equipment
in boiling water, only do
this if you are sure that the plastic parts will not melt.
- Hang the bag to dry. This will retard mold growth.
- You can also rinse your enema bag with a
baking soda solution which when dry retards mold and bacterial growth.
- Try not to use your enema bag for anything else and don't share it. Your enema bag should be a very personal item, for your
use only especially in today's society.
- Clean and sanitize
any linens and such as you would items used for a baby.
